Bangor High School
Coloma High School
The Bangor Vikings traveled to Coloma and took on the Comets in what proved to be a back and forth hard fought game by both teams. Although down 4 points at the end of the first quarter the Vikings rallied back in the second quarter to take a 1 point lead at the half 32-31. Bangor extended the lead to 10 points early in the 4th quarter but couldn’t put the Comets away as they rallied to tie the game at the end of regulation at 58. In the overtime period the Vikings had an opportunity to tie the game with just seconds remaining at 64 but a Bangor turnover lead to an easy Coloma lay up that put the game away for good for Coloma.
Bangor was lead in scoring by Jondell Jones who had 16 points; Enrique Peterson added 14 points; Tyrique Cunningham had 13 points; Terry Brunn knocked in 12 points; and Eugene Burns chipped in 2 points.
Coloma was lead by freshman phenom Zack Goodline who had a team high and game high 31 points; Levi Wilkens added 12 points; and Justin Pullins contributed 8 points.
